Ugh, Caribou.

I lived in the midworst for a while, the good stuff is reviled by the locals because it's considered pretentious. Take Intelligentsia for example, great coffee, but "beta nu-male soyboy fag shit"

Also, there's basically no middle ground between church picnic wh*teoid slop like >>11039675
>>11039787, and ridiculous dinner theater like pic related. A wine list list, assuming you can find it anywhere, is guaranteed to be 25 years out of date, padded with overweight Napa cabs, turgid Super Tuscans, and butter bomb chardonnays. All of it wildly overpriced of course. Fresh vegetables are only found at horrid places aimed at anorexic "wealthy" women (I use scare quotes because imagine a wealthy person eating a ceaser salad at California Pizza Kitchen), all meat must be deep fried and blasted with some kind of sugar syrup, and while the beer is quite good, they take it to the same ridiculous extremes that they take the fine dining, like imagine a beer hall the size of a stadium with flames shooting out of the walls with like 14 different micro-bars each serving its own selection of beers brewed under that roof. It would be a great thing, but it's like the gastronomic equivalent of the zerg rush strategy. They blow their whole load on beer, so you end up in this bizarre food desert where all of the food and all of the drink save for beer tastes like dogshit, but the beer is phenomenal.

In many ways it explains a lot about /ck/ when you remember how many flyovers post here, extreme autism about a narrow subset of things, and total degeneracy when it comes to everything else.
