started drinking when i was like 16, would drink cheap cognac mixed with apple juice
move onto lager beer when i'd go out with friends because it would fill me up before i got too drunk and was cheap

when i turned 18 i went to this great taphouse with a ton of craft beer and tried a tasting paddle - wasn't too into the overly hopped beers, but they even gave me a bottle of sierra nevada PA as a birthday gift to take home, which i really appreciated
been always interested in trying new beer after that, certainly have come around to PA/IPAs after that

If I want a super-weak beer, I usually go for an Asahi Super Dry, or Sapporo. Slightly more character than budweiser or miller, but too expensive.

My standard drink has been and will probably be Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Good character, easy to drink 4 in an hour if I wanna get plastered, and gets buzzed without getting drunk if I drink at my normal pace of a beer every 30-40 minutes.

It's so good that when I run across some abomination of burnt rubber and recycled toilet seat hops, I can mix it with SNPA and make it taste decent enough to enjoy.

This actually isn't that bad, it serves its purpose. Its a cheap malt liqour that gets you fucked up. Its not striving to be anything more than that.


Don't care what anyone says this beer is fucking disgusting. Can barely enjoy it at all.

Two of these with dinner tonight.

My everyday beer. I tend to prefer light and hoppy. Stone IPA if I want something special. For getting trashed, it doesn't really matter, usually Michelob Ultra.

I think OP's choice is mighty fine, too.
