Fast food went to shit in the early 2000's. Probably after 9/11 when everything else went to shit.
Most places started trying to be more "health conscious" which is ridiculous for fast food. As a result shit started getting more expensive.
If you want something that resembles the way fast food used to be in the 90's try going to Rallys. Still really greasy but good food for relatively cheap compared to other places.
