Different beverages obviously vary greatly. Concentrated alcohol has a burning sensation more than a taste, low and medium concentration is more of a warm tingling, low concentration has kind of a slightly bitter heaviness to it.

It reduces inhibition, which means the actual effects will vary. I get de-stressed and feel happy, because I'm an anxious person. Things like food, porn/sex, and other lizard brain pleasures seem twice as good.

Some people get really angry. Some people get really sad. YMWV.
