Apparently cobalamin is the name of Vitamin B12, which comes in four forms:
>cyanocobalamin
>hydroxocobalamin
>adenosylcobalamin
>methylcobalamin

I actually had a B12 deficiency last year, and had injections for it. No idea why, because I eat meat. They said I might have pernicious anaemia, but then they thought I didn't. So it was a bit of a mystery really.

I can't remember if my injection was cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin, I think it might have been hydroxocobalamin.
