as funny as that sounds it comes off as extremely vapid throwing it on the face of the product and it made me dive into it deeper.

to be clear, this line is referring to the USDA's minimum allowed requirement of 15% meat to be inside of what you're calling an "enchilada" when you use that word to describe the product. the USDA is fuckin wrong on this one. in my life experience an enchilada is at least 85% meat, the rest is sauce. to be twice the minimum means that Stouffer's is claiming these to be 30% meat yet in my experience it was really not. imagine you went to chipotle and ordered a burrito. they grab you the stalest tortilla possible, they throw that big portion of rice on it first, then sprinkle some corn in it. when asked for chicken they sprinkle 4 little pieces of that chicken into your burrito and tried to call that a burrito that comes with "two times the amount of meat than the burrito standard!!!"

like i said i found out in original post, they got fucking flamed for this consistently when it came out, so they changed the box and recipe, but it really may be the case that their manufacturers don't actually follow the new recipe, because shit still has no chicken.
