Imagine going from the richest, most powerful and largest empire the world has seen since Rome to becoming an Orwellian dystopia because WWII, then the UN and then NATO and your own bastard colonies forced you to give away most of your global influence and economic power because your politicians had to keep jerking off America and your shared pet Israelis to keep from becoming irrelevant on the global stage.
Now imagine having the people your colonies once lifted out of poverty and technological backwardness decide to destroy all the infrastructure you left behind to keep them at least semi-functional and decide to come to your miserable little island to collect some sweet, sweet unearned income from your increasingly socialist parliamentary system and breed like rabbits, slowly replacing the native culture of the British isles with sharia, normalized child-rape, honor killings and foreign language.
Now imagine that your government not only sees this as a good thing, but actively wants to destroy your "antiquated and racist" national ethos and will jail you for saying mean things on the internet while any rapist goes free if he says he's an oppressed Muslim.
