When you grow up you'll realize your friendship with her was more valuable to you than being right, and you'll regret being such an asshole. No doubt you had some silly opinions about something she felt strongly about, but she didn't want to fight. She just felt happier around you and thought you felt the same way about her. Now all you can remember is those cool summer nights on the front steps, curled up on the big wicker chair together to stay warm as you listened to the insects furiously making mating noises.

She was stupid, you were young, and you can never have her back now. I hope you're happy.
