I bought four pounds of frozen tilapia for $12. Why did no one tell me fish was so cheap? The fillets are even individually vacuum sealed so it's super easy to store and thaw. What are some good recipes for this stuff? So far I'm just drizzling some lemon garlic butter on it with seasoning and baking it.

Is there any resource for cheap and easy meal ideas? Like whenever I look something up it's these elaborate meals with long prep time and tons of ingredients. I've been eating eggs and wonderbread for like a month, pretty sure multivitamins are the only reason I'm alive.

I would like to get better at cooking and get over my fear of undercooking food.
Growing up my mom has overcooked the shit out of everything except the meals she was extremely confident in because she was always paranoid about overcooking food, and that paranoia has passed down to me.

The science says:

No, really, nutritional science is a very wonky field with garbage for controls and heavily dependent on self-reporting, and the best it can say is a lot of conflicting reports, some that it's good, some bad.
