The flyover meme is real, anon. There are millions of people in the United States who were raised on fast food since a very young age. I'm talking multiple nights a week, sometimes even multiple times a day their deadbeat parents would bring home McDonalds or leave then a few bucks on the kitchen counter to order it themselves. Their taste buds have been molded from a very young age to crave the greasy, salty slop that comes of out of these places. As these people grow older they maintain these habits, never learning to cook for themselves and assuming it's totally normal to buy fast food all the time. I grew up in the midwest so I knew plenty of people like this. One of my friends can't even stand the taste and texture of real pizza, he can only eat the dry shit that comes from chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut. I'm extremely thankful that I was born to parents who weren't so lazy that they neglected cooking and eating dinner with their children.

At the risk of sounding like a fag, don't be ashamed in asking for help. I've been going into counseling for a few months now, usually once a week just to talk about coping mechanisms and other gay shit to replace with alcohol.
It's not a niche issue. Alcohol is so widely available and ingrained in our culture that a tremendous deal of the population don't have the means or will to use it responsibly. If you're serious about getting help (and you have to genuinely ask yourself if you actually want to be sober), then there a tons of different avenues to pursue.

This OP is comfy in a hopeless kind of way. Complete abandonment of health and reality in exchange for reckless consumption of calories alcohol and children's entertainment. I wish I could completely give up on life and just escape myself in self indulgence but something in me strives for some sort of betterment in the world. The urge to hide from the world and be comfy is strong in me though. Maybe it stems from a lack from parental love in my childhood, because being a fat drunk hiki is sort of like being a baby in your mothers womb. Completely isolated from the world yet nourished and protected. Maybe its just the American Way of Life idk lol
