Just got fired from my job today :^)

>got wisdom teeth removed a week ago
>got dry sockets
>pain so intense not even my opioid painkillers I was prescribed help
>yesterday go to the dentist before work, get terrible clove-oil tasting dressing stuffed in the dry sockets, it makes the pain milder for the day
>dentist tells me I'll probably have to come back daily for the next few days to get them redressed if the pain comes back
>wake up today, worst pain ever
>tooth holes hurt, mouth hurts, jawbone hurts, all face bones hurt, extreme earache, just writhing in pain
>before my shift I call the dentist to see if I can get my sockets redressed, they give me a time during work which is fine because by the time I get off work they're closed
>get to work, boss is there 'cause she opened the restaurant
>tell her immediately I have to go to the dentist at such time today
>"other coworker that will be with you is new, I don't want her to be by herself so I'll try to be there so she won't be by herself while you're gone"
>she leaves me by myself to work the restaurant in torturous pain, any time a customer isn't there I'm clutching my jaw in pain about to cry
>eventually actually cry (no judge I'm weak grill)
>time for my appointment rolls around, no sign of either my other coworker or my boss, try calling boss to no answer
>panic
>can't skip appointment, can't keep working with this pain, especially can't close the restaurant by myself in such pain
>decide to turn off the oven, lock up the restaurant and put a sign on the door that says "be back soon :)" and go to appointment
>go to dentist, they stuff my mouth
>half an hour later return to work and the sign on the door is gone
>my boss is there waiting for me
>tells me to give her my hat and keys and leave

Funny thing is I gave my two weeks notice yesterday, so it's actually cool I don't have to suffer the last two weeks, I hated that job
Also who do you think was at fault?
