>What are some foods you hate that most people seem to love?
fish. can't stand the smell, taste, texture, or those tiny little bones.

I can eat shrimp and lobster as long as they don't taste fishy.

fish. the only person that liked fish in my family was my dad. the only things my dad did not like were onions and mushrooms, otherwise he would eat anything midwestern.

the last time he tried to get us to eat fish, he served trout, canned corn and mashed potatoes. I hate fish and canned corn. no one would eat the fish or canned corn. Dad got fed up slapped me, and shoved fish and canned corn in my mouth and forced me to eat it.

Sisters saw this and pretended to like it (they told me later they hated it).

Mother told my dad that fish would never be served again and if he wanted corn he could make some for himself and we would eat the vegetables we could stomach.

I've tried fish many times since then and cannot understand what people like about it.

I'm not starving on a desert island and so I don't have to eat it. could I eat it if I had to? sure, but I would not like it, and would look for anything else if I could.

just because you have no sense of taste or smell does not mean you are superior because you eat something nasty.

I hate fish. Hate the taste, hate the smell and I hate all them little bones.

I have tried cooking fish all sorts of ways. once a guy told me to wrap a trout in bacon and that I would love it, yeah nope, all I did was ruin a perfectly good piece of bacon.
