>McDonald’s Raises Menu Prices as U.S. Worker Wages Climb

McDonald’s is hiking the prices of its menu items in an effort to offset wage increases and supply costs as the United States grapples with a labor shortage and supply chain crisis, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Compared to last year, higher-ups at the fast-food chain anticipate menu prices in the U.S. to increase to roughly six percent this year despite the fact that McDonald’s reported strong third-quarter results on Wednesday.

That’s because in McDonald’s U.S. restaurants, wages this year are up at least 10 percent as of now and supply costs for things such as food and paper are anticipated to increase four percent, according to the Journal. McDonald’s is having a difficult time trying to hire enough people to operate under regular hours.

An obese black lady stormed into Starbucks that she didn't like her drink and wanted us to remake it. We remade it, but she still didn't like it like it and wanted us to remake it again. We remade it again, but she still didn't like it. My supervisor stepped in and remade it herself but she still didn't like it. My supervisor offered her a refund. The obese black lady grabbed the drink and threw it in my supervisors's face. Then she grabbed a chair from the lobby and threw it over the counter. She started marching behind the counter and started fighting both my supervisor and coworker. I was the only guy and I jumped the counter to escape the chaos because fuck it not my problem. Starbucks corporate was afraid of getting called racists so they fired them both for defending themselves. I quit after that because I got a job offer somewhere else.

I thought this was suppose to save on labour cost? seems like repairing and replacing them would be more expensive in the long run.
