Why do americans not stop at extremely fatty pancakes, but instead add butter, and syrup? I'm fairly used to european pancakes/crrepes, often only thing on is a simple jam. But just tried this, out of curiosity. Around 5 fresh pancakes, topped with a small slab of butter and maple syrup. It legitimately feels like i'm about to have diarrhea.
