I'll answer your essay w/ an update.
I'm >>7889665 and I haven't slept since my first post so sorry if this is rambling.I've been drinking heavily for the past 3 years. Tried only binging but recently switched to pic related and a bottle of wine every night. You can read what I went through while this thread has been up but basically I cut myself off Saturday, started to shake so bad that I drove myself (stupid, I know but amberlamps are pricey) to the ER. They just tested my blood, gave me a 1000ml banana bag w/ some 100ml more fluids (glyco-something?) and some meds (lorazepam early, clorazepam a bit later) to stop the shakes. When I first got to the receptionist I was shaking so bad that I was stuttering too hard to speak. I don't have a stutter. They prescribed me some chlordiazepoxide for 6 days. I'll pick up with the last of my final severance pay once it clears but I'm not proud to say I bought a 8% 40oz. and a tall boy. I logged on to ventrillo for the first time in a long time just to talk to friends. IDK your situation but being isolated and alone in a rural area is a big factor in why I've been drinking so much. Just talking to old friends helped a lot. I drank two glasses from the 40 (drinking from a glass really helps limit my intake weirdly) but didn't feel the crave to touch anymore. Smoked many cigs but talking to people I like helped a lot. Also, the doctor said gatorade is important. Make sure you're ready.
