>walking around campus today, went to the record store
>hungry, decide to stop in this pizza place that I'd been meaning to go to for several years now
>pizza always smells great, looked like a place from back home
>go in today
>no one there
>get two slices of pepperoni
>guy takes them out of the fridge
>slaps them in the oven
>goes out back
>comes back later
>oh shit, I burnt the pizza sorry man
>i'll make you two others, go ahead and take a free drink on me
>I only wanted water, so I said it's okay and that i'll just have water
>get two new slices
>take a bite
>very doughy crust
>cheese layer is way too thick
>pepperonis were very thickly cut and were still cold in the middle despite being charred around the edge
>everything tasted bland, tomato sauce just looked like paste
>ate most of one slice and threw the rest away
>walked home disappointed
