If you want to impress people, I think you should do so with your own skills. I don't see why you would want to "impress", however, in my opinion trying to impress people is akin lying to them, or presenting an image of something you aren't really. If someone tried to impress me, I would think they were fake.

You can put it on pasta. I've put cans of stew in pasta before. There are also some hot sandwiches that are smothered in gravy, sort of like a gravy sogwich.
