thats what my friends wife made w the homemade fresh pasta, lasagna. the flavor wasn't a ton different from dried noodles but I loved the texture and mouthfeel alot more. its the only time I've had homemade pasta, can you better elaborate on exactlly what qualities make it different from dried pasta? flavor, texture?

I'd bang any of them obviously because I'm not queer but Fire is the only one that sticks out to me as being particularly attractive, the rest are pretty average for that age. that fire is on fire though.

I've never made it but my friends wife made some fresh pasta one night, it was awesome. I don't think its hard to make or you could probably get some from a specialty grocer or a place like Whole Foods.

thanks. I try not to push food on friends I just love sharing the food and experience when I get something really good, I want everyone to take part. some people are cool about it some people are like "no you ordered that, you eat it anon".

what I really wish there were more of is family style serving restaurants. like where they bring out large portions of the different meats, veggies, sides, etc and everybody grabs what they want and shares like its thanksgiving.

best cheesesteak I've had came from some dumpy antique shop miles outside of philly, somewhere in the vicinity of West Chester. Pat's and Geno's are Ok for what they are, I mean how can you fuck up a cheesesteak, they do what they do. Honestly I've had better cheesesteaks in texas though, I mean there isn't any magical secret to the sandwich. Look around and you'll find a place that does it good whether you are in philly or arent.

not sure if weird but I get strange looks and comments when I do it. fucking cheese and apples, best combo. honeycrisp or braeburn paired with English coastal cheddar can not be beat, can not be stopped. the sweet and sour of the apple goes to a whole new level when you add the saltiness and creaminess of the sharp cheddar.

my family has always been big on trying things off each others plates and trying each others drinks. I really like it, having the shared experience of tasting what everyone else is having and sharing everything. when I go out to eat with my family we pretty much just share everything, its awesome and you can try everything.

I get the impression this is weird though. when I go eat with friends they never make offers for me to taste something, even if they are going on about how great it is. If what I ordered is really good I like to share it with everybody but some people seem put off by it, like it isn't normal for me to be handing out food.

whats the proper etiquette here? My favorite people to eat with are my immediate family because we always just share everything, no weird vibes or bullshit. when I'm with other people I notice they don't do this and everybody just eats what they ordered.

theoretically speaking, lets assume that I want to purposefully buy a can of Chef Boyardee pasta for a meal. which variety is least likely to fail? I'm leaning towards tortellini or lasagna being the best, I remember them having a sweeter tastier sauce a long time ago. I also recall a type of over-stuffed ravioli that was promoted by popular WWF wrestlers, that seems like a hot ticket if its still around.

>giving up food

not even once. eat less food lard golem. split your meal with somebody or save half for another meal. I don't see why anybody should have to give up anything if there aren't allergens involved, just know when to put down the fucking fork.

thanks man, I'll try this out. the old orange spanish rice really made it good but I think it might still be OK with the new stuff . I don't know what it was about that specific combination of ingredients but it was my all time favorite thing from there. my mom even still talks about how based it used to be, she was a fan.

I like the new rice but really miss the classic red stuff, I wish we could have both.
