Kind of like American Catfish. I loves me some Catfish. With a liver adapted to eat the harshest of "filth". Do you research before you post your own feces?

Scrambled eggs and toast is the breakfast of champions...even if eaten for dinner.

Yes, I did. I found it light and tasty, 6/10.

According to the packaging, this was farm raised in Peru. That's a long way from the Me Chong Delta.

Thank you. I'm guessing you winter her as well.

What's for dinner /ck/ooks? I baked me two Talapia fillets, some steamed broccoli, and a box of organic wild rice. Nothing fancy, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Talapia. They were on sale at Ralphs for $5.99 per bag, which has seven fillets, which is kind of weird. Baked them in a 350 oven with fresh dill, a pat of butter, and a slice of lemon.

A meal this good for $4.50? I'm frugal, but not poor.

Nothin' wrong with that. I bought a $1.99 bottle of Bay Bridge Cabernet.

What's for dinner /ck/? I threw a six dollar piece of meat in the crock pot this morning at 7. Home at 4 to fall apart goodness. Didn't have time to bake a potato, so I picked up some mashed at the store along with a bunch of spinach which I wilted in a pan after frying up diced bacon to toss with it. Out the door I think this cost me about 9 bucks and I'll be eating it for two days. Frugality does not mean eating crappy food.

I cook almost every day and used to post here quite often before getting flamed by /b/tards. I picked up a huge corned beef brisket on sale after St. Paddies Day. Gonna do that with some cabbage in the Crock this weekend. Will post the results.

But would you fell safe putting this in the oven and leaving for nine hours? I can't live without my Crock. Cost me twenty bucks at Target.

Bought a four dollar brisket on sale at Stater Bros. yesterday. Put it in the Crock this morning at seven with a bottle of Stater Bros. Chili Sauce and a pouch of onion soup. Got home at four, baked a potato and sautéed some spinach with bacon. What did you have for dinner /ck/?

I finally emptied out my car's ashtray and figured I had about $16 in change. I ran it through the change thing in the store and it came to $23! So, I bought a $16 Corned Beef Brisket, a bag of red potatoes, some mini carrots, a head of green cabbage, and an onion. Put a layer of spuds and carrots and sliced onions in the bottom of my crock pot at 8:00 AM this morning. Let it cook on high for 5 hours. Then I siphoned about a cup of juice and braised wedges of cabbage in it for about fifteen minutes. Served with some course mustard. This was fantastic! And I can eat for three days. I urge anyone to try this simple recipe. You will not disappoint.
