>bland ass inferior butter
Did you miss the part where I said I add salt? Typical salted butter consumer: dumb as shit.
>>13537481
>tried adding salt
>doesn't quite taste the same
Hmm salt added to butter tastes different than butter with salt added? What? You retards make no damn sense. "Hey, I ate some potatoes that were mashed, but they didn't taste like mashed potatoes." That's how stupid you sound.

KWAB. saltboy SEETHING. I'm not taking the trip off. I'm glad such a small thing makes you mad.

Hmmm still not ONE single compelling argument to support buying salted butter, AS USUAL. Saltboys SEETHING.

Hundreds. That's only my "eating butter" though. When I buy butter for cooking, it's still unsalted. And you're still a stupid bitch who can't season food with salt.

>> No.13537443 [View]

>good for bread
So is unsalted with salt that I add myself. In fact, I buy the highest-quality sea salt that money can buy. Does your store-bought salted butter have artisan hand-crafted sea salt? I don't think so, chump.
>it lasts longer outside the fridge
LMAO I really am talking to a retard. What's wrong with cold butter? You can't spread it on your toast? See, I'm not a dumb fucking idiot, so I put cold butter on the toast when it's still in the toaster oven. Then, it melts and becomes spreadable in seconds. I bet you break your spaghetti noodles, too, you dumb fucking idiot

>> No.13537426 [View]

"People" who buy salted butter, explain yourselves. Is it really too hard for you to sprinkle salt on your food? You need some machine in a factory to do it for you? You're so bad at cooking and seasoning food that you don't know how much salt to add?

See, I put "people" in quotations because if you buy salted butter, you're subhuman.

>> No.13537417 [View]

>>13537406
>superior eating butter
That's funny because I make my own cultured butter and I NEVER add salt to the butter. When I eat buttered toast, I spread the butter, then I sprinkle on some fine salt. You can't take 2 seconds to sprinkle salt on your food? RETARD ALERT!

Reason #1:Peanut butter is addictive. And pipe down, people who inject heroin between your toes and suggest that peanut butter addictions don’t count. Addictions are addictions, and you probably have a problem if you don’t think you can go a day without something – whatever that thing is. Except maybe homework, or calling your grandmother.

Reason #2:Peanut butter is too versatile. It’s the little black dress of foods. At once salty, creamy, savory, desserty, and proteiny, it tastes just as good on a serving of ice cream as it does on a morning bowl of oats, a lunchtime banana, or a stir fry dinner. It makes any attempt at moderation impossible. I decided it was far better to simply stop eating it and reclaim my life – and my meals.

Reason #3:Peanuts are legumes. This means they contain high concentrations of lectins, which are carb-binding proteins that have been shown to damage gut lining. And when gut health is compromised for a long period of time by obsessive lectin-eating, things can get messy. Like, leaky gut syndrome messy. And friends, you definitely do not want this. Unless, of course, you’re into nutritional deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, and bowel hyperpermeability. (Yikes!)

Reason #4: Peanuts contain alfaloxins, whichare fungal toxins that the livermetabolizes. Large doses of aflatoxin have been shown to cause liver cancer in rats, and although the FDA does test for alfaloxins in the food we eat, eating toxic stuff regularly over a long period of time just doesn’t seem like the best idea.

Reason #5: Lectins and alfaloxins aside, peanut butter just isn’t as nutritious as it’s cracked up to be. Sure,it isprobably a whole lot less bad for you than shooting heroin between your toes and it does contain good stuff like thiamin, niacin, folate, and magnesium, but it bears no comparison to meats from good sources. It’s also really, really challenging to get all of your protein needs fulfilled by peanut butter.

Well I'm not exactly a noob. I was just curious as to why that anon suhhested what he did. I'm familiar with Jamie but never read anything.

Also, I download my eBooks. I'm part of a private eBook/AudioBook tracker that seems to have tons of books. So I guess if anyone has requests I'll see what I can do?

What should I go download if I'm interested?

Hey guys, I'll post a pic when I go downstairs.

Sounds like the foil is the best way to go (snow outside and I haven't shoveled to the grill and smoker yet) and I'm using my oven anyway for veggies and shit.

So I bought 3 marinaded salmon fillets at the grocery store today. But, what would you guys advise as the best way to cook it? Stove top or oven? I've never cooked it before.

Combine the peppercorns, salt, and paprika (optional) in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder. Blend until the peppercorns have almost all broken apart. Add in the rest of the seasonings and blend again until well combined.

Transfer to an airtight jar. The flavors are the best if used immediately, but the blend can be stored at room temperature and used for several months. Great on steaks, roasts, burgers, and more!

Recipe Notes
If you want this seasoning to taste more like the McCormick store bought version of Montreal Steak seasoning, I recommend skipping the smoked paprika and DOUBLING the dried dill. Enjoy!

Lmao I feel for you and her. You should record it.

Smokey the male cat, the bigger one I posted, has to eat special dry food. We nursed him back from almost death about 6 years ago.

Peekaboo, the screamer, eats wet food and loves the gravy.

So I have to have both wet and dry.. My animals live long because I treat them like a child. My longest cat was 19.

I also have 2 dogs. Cocker/Poodle mix, and an Australian Shepard
