Of course store bought 100% juice is better than soda.

The problem is that in America "100% juice" can mean 10% "fruit that is on the front of the container" and 90% shitty white grape juice since it's relatively neutral in flavor.

I don't remember the percentages but if the "fruit that is on the front of the container" is less than X percent, it has to be called cocktail.
If the JUICE amount is less than X percent it has to be called "drink".
Obviously different countries have different thresholds/classifications.

Fresh squeezed juice is obviously even better.

Actually eating fruit is better than any of those.

If you're low carb or whatever, that's fine, you're not gonna die if you totally cut out fruit.
Still, all of those (other than 'drink') are better than those stupid ugg wearing cunts who just throw sliced fruit into water and think they're "infusing" it.

If he's starting with raw crab he should be fine. The stuffing temp won't change significantly by the time the part of the tilapia touching the stuffing is cooked.

Source: did it with minced shrimp + scallion + water chestnut.

Sautee the crab with fresh tarragon, parsley and a small amount of olive oil, bit of lemon zest and juice. salt and pepper

stuff and cook your tilapia as you planned.

Save your butter and top the motherfucker with hollandaise, smoked paprika.

Those are mustard seeds. looks like they're in mayo.

Take mustard seeds, soak them in white wine vinegar until they're swollen, then drain and mix with mayo.

Exchange for one that isn't nonstick. You cannot heat a nonstick wok to the temperatures you want.

Just eat one.

The sugar content of dates is so high that you're probably fine.

If you wanna do something cool with them, do ancient Roman influenced stuffed dates. I've adapted them a little bit since the original recipe was way the fuck too sweet.

Pit all the dates, make sure they're nice and opened up to maximize space for stuffing.

Toast some pine nuts and almonds, add a tiny amount of salt, black pepper and cayenne. Grind them with a mortar and pestle until they're the consistency of chunky peanut butter.

Fold in some soft goat cheese like chevre, and a couple drops of olive oil just to lube it up. If it's too tart, you can use cream cheese or marscarpone.

Stuff the dates with the mixture. The best idea is to roast them until hot in the middle. The original recipe says to fry them in oil and honey, but they are overwhelmingly hot.

Flay's TV persona is a lot douchier than he really is. Kinda like GR's persona on american TV is a lot douchier than he really is.

Those facts aside, Rick Bayless is more based.

The funny thing is that if you have any leftovers of those, the purple carrots will stain the orange ones and make them look hideous.

Actually put work in; don't use "I'm bad at this" as a cop out for anything, or you will never be good at anything.

I'm not going to give you an elaborate or difficult scratch recipe, but you will have to do some cooking. Here are some guidelines. Both of these will start with chicken broth from cans or tetra packs (which you have brought up to a simmer in a pot), and chicken meat from a 'deli rotisserie chicken' from a supermarket (that you have chopped up. Also you will use salt and pepper. NB you don't need to use ALL of these ingredients.

TRADITIONAL CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
vegetable options:
leeks, onions, fine chopped celery fried until fragrant in some olive oil
zucchini cut into coins
potatoes, cubed
carrots, cubed
peas (frozen is fine)
asparagus, broccoli, broccolini.(sulfurous vegetables get a bad rap in soups but they only get nasty if you cook them to shit.)
mushrooms

flavorings and herbs:
Little bit of white wine.
hardmode: veloute sauce as a base for cream of chicken soup.
bay leaf + parsley + sage leaves + peppercorns, all wrapped up in a cheesecloth. *** ESSENTIAL ***

noodles:
egg noodles
farfalle
orichiette
pastina

"ASIAN" CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
vegetable/other shit options:
bean sprouts (added at the very last minute)
bell peppers
tofu
green beans, ESPECIALLY long beans
pea pods
carrots, matchstick
lotus root
water chestnut
baby corn (i fucking hate it, but im putting it in here anyways)
baby bok choi, or shredded napa cabbage
mushrooms (cloud ear, shiitake, whatever really)

flavoring options:
soy sauce
sambal oelek
shaoxing cooking wine/mirin
fish sauce
coconut milk
dried shrimp
ginger

spices:
lemongrass
spring onions
star anise
thai basil
fresh cilantro
la lot

noodles:
Glass noodles
Soba
Udon
Lo Mein
Buy a bunch of wonton wrappers and shred them
rice/scorched rice

Hope that helps.
