Sweat any veggies you have in a pot, add garlic if you have it, add soy sauce and water, cook noodles in it, crack an egg into it if you have it, and you should have a decent poverty meal.

Here they are in their raw form. They grow in a lot of North America as far as I know, close relatives of garlic with a delicate flavor. Make sure they smell strongly of onions and lack flowers or they might be a similar but inedible plant.

It’s reducing nicely, so I’m gonna add wild onions. They grow like crazy all over my yard so might as well put them to use.

Dice a pack of portabella mushrooms, add sea salt, put in a container overnight. I’m probably just gonna do 6 hours though. We’ll revist that later.

Got any favorite spring recipes /ck/? I have the day off work and I’m in the mood for some fresh flavors so I’m making a soup with various herbs from my backyard garden. I have an abundance of sweet mint, dandelions, and wild onion so I’m gonna see what we can do with those and some store bought stuff. Also I’ll be making that mushroom ketchup recipe Townsend made a video about because I feel like trying it.

Photography: 2/10 needs better lighting, focus, composition. Turn on more lights, center the whole pizza in the frame, and hold the camera still.

Pizza: 7/10 looks bretty gud but I can’t tell what exactly is on it. Crust looks perfectly cooked and cheese is nice and melty without being overly browned.

2 tablespoons mayo, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon dijon, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire, 1 garlic pressed garlic clove, squeeze of lemon juice, pinch of allspice. Mix and leave in the fridge overnight so the flavors meld properly. You can also add a teaspoon of grated horseradish if you like a little more kick.

Yes but now I control the ingredients, no fucking corn syrup here. I also don’t have more than I need.

Presentation needs work. $50 and they couldn’t even be assed to put a piece of parsley on top? Are those breadcrumbs on it? I would have done pasta, then squid, then sauce, then breadcrumbs, then parsley and a thin lemon wedge.
