Whole milk is nice, but it's bad for my long term health, because I just drink SO MUCH MILK. (Roughly 1 half gallon a day)

I drink 2% and only use Whole for cooking.

pretty much, yeah. I don't mind some of the membrane (that white stuff) because it's got a lot of good vitamins, but not too much - that stuff is bitter.

I just do it that way because that's the easiest way to eat it segment-by-segment.

It's not, but because they are in vast minority, everyone throws eggs anyway

Unfortunately, the law of the Tripcode says: be ornery, or everyone will hate you anyway.

Fortunately I have about 4 years of ironsides so I have officially developed coping skills.

you don't have to shoulder all the humor yourself.

it's bad, I just had a flashback to "The Wonder Years" and I don't know why.

I think it's because I envision you looking like that kid.

Too salty, too much extra weird flavor.

Ritz or saltines please.

>> No.4017710 [View]

Yes, yes you can.

It will taste a bit different, but nobody is going to slap your wrist.

Yes, it's true that carrots are good for your sight, they flood the body with Carotenes, which are Retinoids and used to maintain the eyes.

But 1 extra hour of sleep is at least 100 times more effective at keeping your eyes healthy than eating a serving of carrots. Keep it in perspective. Don't turn orange, turn in early.

Carrots are good for you because they supply you with a large surplus of vitamins, its claim to fame being BETA CAROTENE - which is named after it.

And the cores do taste best.

#8: Seattle, WA

With the freshest seafood from Puget Sound and dozens of talented and innovating minds, the Emerald City is a fine place to eat, especially if you're in the mood for something new.

Artificially created flavors are sometimes very useful, but it depends a great deal on the actual impact on the body of the artificial flavor, and what flavor is being created/imitated. One of the more popular artificial flavors is artificial vanilla.

Also there are places for it and places it shouldn't be.
Artificial flavor in a kid's candy like Laffy Taffy is o.k.

Artificial flavor does not belong in a souffle.

The original Red Delicious was quite good...
... but after so many years only the looks are left.

They are still sweet and wonderful straight from the tree but they don't cook that well.

Also someone's been attacking the wikipedia page for them.

It's very tough to cook rice better than a ricecooker, it takes way too much time and attention, and you need:

- A pot with a clear lid
- Easily controllable heat (Electric won't do!)
- loads and loads of practice

Meanwhile you can save yourself 20+ hours of ricemaking training by plugging in a rice cooker. Instant, superior results.

I definitely vote for it if you plan to cook rice often!
