I don't think I've ordered a pizza without anchovies in over a decade. Once you've had it, every other pizza just seems kind of boring. It actually kind of ruins pizza, especially if you're eating with other people who don't want anchovies and you have to get boring pizza. It's like being given an ice cream sundae without fudge, a curry without heat, or going out to a bar and there's nothing on tap but macro-lagers.

I haven't ordered a pizza without anchovies in probably 15 years. It would be like ordering a burger well-done. Once you've seen how much better things can be there's just no way to go back unless you're at a children's birthday party or some situation where you're just being polite.
