I'm a newbie, looking to proactively prepare for my state's main cosplay event which is several months off. Not totally sure what I'm going to do yet.

Planning on finally going to Senshi Con (this is the main convention in Alaska, there are others but I don't know much about 'em)

I'm a Dota 2 player right now, pretty bad at it, but I really enjoy the game. I enjoyed Smite quite a bit, but now that I have less free time on my hands, I stopped playing much, since I failed at being an eSports coach in that game. I'm down to play whatever though.

I prefer gaming to other forms of media, but I do enjoy the Jojo series, Hokuto no Ken, and Yugioh as a guilty pleasure. I like a few live action Japanese TV shows like Game Center CX and Yuusha Yoshihiko (the show with the guy dressed up as the DQV protag).

I enjoy alternative music, jazz, and classical, especially romantic era nationalist composers such as Bedrich Smetana, Dvorjak, and Tchaikovsky (I think he's later desu but whatever). I also enjoy following baseball to a light degree, working out / improving my fashion, and comedy movies / TV shows in moderation. I also can talk at a mile a minute if someone is able to facilitate that, because I love talking.

I think it's about the Collective unconscious and the archetypes, think about AP recurring themes in their prints. It's like it's always about the same thing, but with a different form everytime, a bit like the archetypes. It reminds me of recurring dream patterns.
The recurring print elements are often linked to important symbolism, for example crosses and other religious symbols, cats, "milky" stuff etc

You didn't exactly get what I would like. I don't want someone to singlehandedly 'save' me. I want something similar to a fitness instructor, or a car instructor? Someone who's going to yell at me and discuss heavily with me face-to-face so I have no option but to do what is necessary, or else I won't. I know myself.

God knows I only learned to drive well because my dad was with me 90% of the time, and he was a real critic twards me - sometimes even mean, but in the end I learned because I didn't want him to yell at me. That is the only way I learn.

I know what I must do, but I don't know if I'm strong enough to do it. So I get stuck in this limbo, where only someone else can make me gather what strength I have, and make me change.

Dating apps/websites NEVER worked for me. Can't figure out how, but you probably can, since i've spilled a lot of drama in the feels thread. However, my desperation is probably transparent to everyone except me. I hate how I let clear so many things, yet I do not realize them.
