It's pretty obviously based on hakama outfits. I don't think the skirt is 100% perfect, reads a bit underskirt-y to me, but that's just my nitpick and I really like this coord other than the socks.

This makes me sad. The fabric is really cute and the fit of the jsk is good, but there are some real issues.

Get rid of all the dark blue polkadot fabric, replace it with cream chiffon ruffled fabric.

Shorten the dress a few inches. Have the hem lace around all of the hem.

Unfortunately nothing can really be done about the accessories. I think the boots could stay provided the rest of the coord was done in similar earthy tones mori-girl style.

It's hard to judge a coord when half of it is covered up by a cape, but I'm still not a fan. It would be way too easy to swap out her skirt for a more normie one since she's using so many normie accessories. When you chain together several comments like that, it makes it much, much easier to see how new you are. OP, for eg, started out by nitpicking the hair on an otherwise beautiful coord. Then followed it up by soapboxing about some borderline ita's shoes. Girl, there's like so many other things wrong with that second coord, but OP actually posted two pics to prove her inaccurate point.

The other anon was fine but then she tripped and pointed out reddish shoes in a print that had red in them, and then started using the rules like a scoring mechanism. That's not how you use the rules. Outfits either look ugly or they don't, our eyes give fuck-all about the rules. The rules are just there to say "if you do x and y, your chances of looking good are much higher".

The one that's commenting how people's faces need stickers is pretty off, too. One has a derp face, the other has actually bad makeup. The commentary "I imagine her doing X" doesn't do her any favours either, the entire start of Lolita's beef with sissy blogs is that they're doing exactly that, taking people's photos and writing stupid made-up stories about them.

If you do the photos individually, and then post the commentary without chaining them, people don't notice that it's the same person being a stupid dumbass. cgl is full of stupid shits trying to pick a fight, so it's much easier to write off the dumber comments as someone trying to troll. It's when you chain them together and realise it's really one person who thinks it's "good karma" to enlighten the world with her "opinions, you don't have to follow what I say", that's one of those moments when you feel the need to tell them they're stupid and no one wants to hear their comments.

This is the first time I've liked the huge 80's thick framed glasses in a coord, nice. The shoe color is a bit off, didn't notice it at first in my sleepy state, the more I stare at it the more it bugs me, but deep reds can be hard to match, maybe in person it would be less noticeable instead of a still photo I can just stare at.

Nayrt but this is my main issue. I love using light colours on the legs but it always takes me into cankle city, and the only way to avoid it has been to change the colour distribution of the coord so that I’m wearing something darker on my legs instead. White vertical stripes would be ideal but I haven’t been able to find many tights like that. Do you have any recommendations?

Is that how those shoes are suppose to be tied? I don't like them, they look sloppy. The socks bunching looks kinda sloppy too, and they are plain knee socks when they need a flourish of lace or something. I'd prefer a white blouse instead of the slightly off match pink one as well.

The brown is not well dispersed in the coord. Not sure if brown shoes would have been enough to help, but the busy print of the dress is competing with the heavy chocolate print of the cardigan in a bad bad way. I think you'd have to use a lot soft touch of solid chocolate browns to pull this mix off.
The huge heart mole makeup weirds me out.

This person is rapidly posting more and more coords. I think this one is a little bit better than the ones before. She needs to stick her chin out and shoulders back a little bit more (till one can feel it in the tendons) before looking down, it will help with the digital foreshortening which works against having an elegant chin. I would take those non matching pink bows off the socks, but its a very "I wear lolita every day" type casual, as in this is no big deal.

I'm glad you did a closeup of the material in the bg of your picture or i wouldn't have known it was pin stripped with gold thread, that's actually kinda cute, but the overall coord looks a little unfinished, like you had to leave before you were done getting ready. The individual items are nice. Rose dot makes me think of a country (rural) Sunday dress, so pairing it with a veil (that leans towards gothic or ott to me) seems a bit odd to me. Everything would look a bit better if the chest weren't about to burst, elongated and flattened out like it is here. Oh yeah and the boots with the veil make the head wear choice even weirder.

The strings hanging from the bottom of the dress are bugging me, the overdress hides all of the lolita shape, the socks need to be changed out to something maybe with a white star print, there is no other gold in the coord that the gear look is almost too much against the clock theme? The head wear is almost non existent. This is blocked in too much of one dark color when that color is just a little near the top of the dress, it needs a little variety and to keep the silhouette intact.
