I mentioned several mods who have been confirmed for posting here like on amino and in facebook groups as well as leaders of certain comms.

There are also self post threads in the archives and yes, the majority of people who have been proved to have posted here, look like shit.

Myself included in that I don't look great. Even the skinny ones are kind of terrible and normal looking. There used to be some interesting attractive folks here, but they are looong gone.

I think it's the fact that when camwhores get ridiculously efamous based on their looks, it rubs gulls the wrong way if they don't even have those looks to begin with because they've shooped themselves to the point where they're unrecognisable. Like, the efame is undeserved. Really, they should be getting props for digital software or app usage. I use apps to remove blemishes and such but in the event I actually meet people who follow my social media, I'd be embarrassed if I didn't actually look like my pics, like some kind of fraud. I seem to be in the minority though in this day and age; people don't seem to give a shit that others will see them irl and know they faked being cute, kind of reminds me of that one episode of South Park. You can use them without shooping the ever living fuck out of yourself. You can turn off the auto-slimming features and just use the filters, and the rest of the features are manually applied and adjusted.
