I think the helmet is too bright of red and the jacket looks very weathered. If you wear that, you'll probably want to scuff up the helmet some, too.

it seems like you aren't using the right kind of wig for those kings of ponytails, anon. You need a special kind of wig where the wefts are sewn in different directions on the wig cap, specifically for things like ponytails and pigtails. I've used this one before:

totally understandable, thank you! to be completely honest I only did it to gain traction to my Facebook page / Instagram because I knew all the little Harley fanlets would runneth over, thus giving my other costumes more attention. I was thinking maybe that once I got it as accurate as possible I would just take some really good pictures and photoshop them similar in style to the movie and just tag the absolute shit out of them.

My friend and I have actually turned this into a bit of a weight loss goal cosplay thing. I've always really liked Harley, I'm surprised how much I actually liked this version, although her character did seem a bit forced at times, and she's been obsessed with Poison Ivy since forever. I wouldn't be anywhere near comfortable with cosplaying her with my current body so I want to lose about 8kg and by then hopefully at least promotional images will be coming out if that Harley Quinzel does end up getting made. Even if it's not out for 3 or 4 years then I will be a psychologist by then so even better I guess.

thank you!! no ive actually never considered that, but when that movie came out i loved it. the only other blonde girl i cosplay is Gwen Stacy and that's my sunday costume 'cause its just her green coat death outfit

also yeah I mean I've been a seagull since i was like 14 back when this was an 18+ board so i knew when i posted myself i was gonna get some "ugh kill urself harley slut trash" so i was prepared for it. i wasn't prepared for some of the genuine compliments though, that was a pleasant surprise lol. this board has gotten a lot nicer over the years.

personally i think that cosplaying for attention when you do genuinely enjoy and know the source material is much different than cosplaying for attention when all you know is what you found on wikipedia. Ugh I know. She's so flat in the hip/ass area, and the amount of volume on the top half of the outfit just exaggerates that. It makes her look kind of boxy. And every back shot I've seen is just sad. If nothing else, girl should do some squats before she reprises the roll.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to hate on Margot. I actually thought should could pull off Harley when I heard she'd been cast. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I can't comment on her performance. But the outift just missed to mark in so many ways and turned out so unflattering on her.
