It doesn't really bother me she's asking for money because there's always some thirsty guy out there willing to give people money, but I hate how she talks about it like she's starving. If you're tight on money but still really want to craft a good thing to do is to pick a really hard cosplay and then slowly buy what you need for it over a really long period of time. That way when you can afford something you can get it and then you'll have a long time to work on it and won't be sitting around waiting for money to finish it, because you'll have tons of work to do with what you currently have. She says she wants it for cons but I don't believe that at all tbh.

Is she actually popular enough to have fans? I don't know who she is but I can't see people being fans of someone who acts like cosplay is a necessity.

Actually, that's not really the case, most slackers go for non-STEM degrees because they're easier. People in the STEM fields have a much higher literacy rate. It's nothing to do with people pushing STEM, it's people slacking in high school, schools having poor funding, a lot of teachers with tenure who don't give a shit, people who are legitimately not very bright, people slacking (counts twice), and people thinking that college is just what you do after high school, rather than having a specific goal in mind.

I just got an email from my internship supervisor (who is a full professor and runs his own lab) and it honestly reads like it was written by a twelve year old. They can score near perfect on standardized tests but they can't write a basic sentence or essay. The frustrating thing was everyone who had to take the course got like...one and a half credits for taking it, and class sign ups were based on how many credits you have. Suffice to say all of these losers were able to sign up for classes before everyone else, because they lack a very basic skill.

Reminds me of that one chick on Cosplay.com a while back. Liked to complain on the forums there about how she got unwanted comments on her huge tits and all she heard from commenters were sexual stuff.

A few anons got curious and went to her DeviantArt where she complained about all these unwanted comments and found that her DA was full of her posing topless and fully nude with flirty captions and asking for opinions on her body.
