The print is based on a fairy tale about religious morals about a girl who wears bright red shoes because she thinks they're beautiful, but she ends up being cursed to dance forever because of it. She ends up chopping her own feet off with an axe if I recall. Sorry that's a pretty quick version of the story, ha ha. You should look it up and read it.

I do agree, however, that this is not a guro coord. There's nothing grotesque about the print itself even if the story is, so the guro needs to come from added accessories. I like the idea in the last thread about the red ribbons tied around the feet, and of course the red shoes. Doing sickly looking makeup, like CPK style eye bags would fit the theme well too. But, yeah, this alone isn't really guro.

It wasn't a typo, I'm using an iPad and It autocorrected me and I didn't notice until it was already posted. I would hardly say a mere typo is enough to make someone pointing out a straight up fact look like an idiot, anyway.

Yeah, I'm aware of the fairy tale the dress is based on. It's just that, like you said, a print based on a dark fairytale doesn't mean it's a guro coord. (Fucking autocorrect turned "guro" into "gyro" three times in a row when I wrote that)
