Didn't post my dream items for a long time now. I'm still saving up for the more expansive items, saw the JetJ Azrael a few days ago for 30k Yen.

High priority is that fucking Heart E bag which I'm looking for so many years now. I've never seen it for sale now and start to doubt that it ever existed, beside that picture on the Heart E website.

I plan to wear one of this JetJ dresses to my wedding, of course I need to get them first.

Unfortunately I only see the OP or JSK of the yellow CherryBerryBunny for sale.

I saw the Fragrant Rose skirt twice in two months and i either have no indoor ss or it is the wrong color. I really want the lighter colors and at least the black one...

I've been reading about it quite a bit today and from what I've read they plan on expanding the service overseas very soon, as it's really taking off in Japan, so it doesn't surprise me that there are changes. There will most likely be a European version of the app released soon, but so far if you are able to download it it's just a useless tease.

Adding to that, there have been a lot of girls who have had people talk about them negatively, posting personal stuff, and also hating on their looks or outfits.
And my comm is pretty much all sweet people and super well dressed, so they don't deserve that. And we try to keep drama to a minimum. So that's pretty much why they hate cgl.
A couple post here, but I think they are like me and stick to the positive threads like help, draw, etc.
This is the only extremely active online community that has good information and pretty pictures constantly. I wish we could weed out the drama and hate and trolls but keep all of that. Things like all the love Hospitality-chan gets in the dream dress thread make me smile so much that it's worth sorting through it all.

Update on the SS/flea market app situation:

Talked with ChibiTenshi and she hopes to offer these services later this summer, but Mercari is linked with iTunes Japan, and since she has an American iTunes account it blocks her out of using it. She's going to try and work with it eventually and see if she can get it to switch a J account for her and start working, but she's too backed up to deal with it now. HOWEVER, she has a Fril account and offered to try for Fril items for me!

No Country For Tall Men said that he cannot use these apps either, due to the nature of them, but his wife can. He redirected me to his wife and I'm waiting to hear back from her, since she also offers SS, but is very busy and therefor limited on who and how many she can help.

personalshopperJ.com said they can do it, but sound extremely reluctant on it. I have given them the okay and agreed to their crazy commission and terms, but they have not responded back to me yet.

This is tough... All other SS have given a straight no.

Apparently it's too tough to just trick a phone into using them, or, you can so that you can browse, but the actual transactions require a lot of in-Japanese communication with the sellers and are difficult to use. SS don't trust them because they're like eBay, and they feel uncomfortable with private sellers on such a new platform and you can't do the transactions from a computer at all.

So here's how it ends:

personalshopperJ ended up pulling through for me. I had found a Hospitality Doll ring, brooch, and the FUCKING WHITE SATCHEL (I had a later release of it, now I have the real fucking deal!). Turns out the ring and brooch were sold out but not marked as such until they tried to purchase, but the satchel was available and is now mine. I ended up paying the $30 fee for it (no biggie) and they will officially shop for you off of the apps, but it's tough to find things that are actually still available, and they will certainly express their reluctance to act on it.

I am pleased with the outcome! Now, if only that goddamn OP will float into my arms. But hey, closer now than ever, amirite?

But seriously, download the flea market app (it's on the app store, starts with an F, is in Japanese, but should come up when you search for Mercari), search the Japanese term for Metamorphose, and it's close to the top. Same seller I got my bag from; personalshopperJ talked to them for me and confirmed that they were legitimate, and they will buy from them for you! I had to gank to search terms off of my phone some how and google them to actually get a link on my laptop, but I can't seem to do that with this one at the moment. It's only $100.

Okay so both dream tier Bay Berry and Around the World are indie brands so I feel I should get them as soon as possible since it'll be hard to get those in particular once they're gone from their source.

The problem is that if I snatch those I'll probably have to wait till next check to finally begin collecting pieces to make a coord, and I can probably flush BTSSB Holy down the drain [not that there was a high chance of me getting it anyway with the auction time] since those dresses together equal its price.

The time limits are stressing me out so should I buy the dresses themselves as soon as possible, or collect slower so I can build up my coord making pieces for them since I have none? Also what's a good SS for taobao and their price?

Do what you feel is right anon? In regards to not being able to afford other pieces for a coord right away, screw that noise. I often buy main pieces even if I dont have matching accessories since its much easier to hunt down accessories. So I say go for it in those terms.

Between the brand dress and taobao, do whatever you feel you should. Would you rather have 2 dresses vs 1, would you rather brand, which print do you like more, etc etc. Personally I love Holy by Baby and that would be my choice, but I'm quite biased since my overall style is sweet. Also it would be worth it to take into consideration which pieces will work better in your wardrobe.

yeah, I know about the cache. Fortunately it's not a super popular release (though still a mildly popular old dress, but not top tier dream dresses level?) and was in early pages so I might just yet get lucky. Even if I miss it, at least I now have a better idea of what I might have to pay for it in the future (and even better, that price is affordable to me.)

i think the hard colour to coord it with is the iris, but you could bring out the white/offwhite, beige, pink, red, brown or gold in the dress, and as long as you kept it consistent it would look wonderful!

I just can't seem to wrap my brain around a coord with the purple. I have tried incorporating more browns/pinks/beiges in to a coord, but I haven't found the right balance. Maybe I'll give it another try while waiting for black to pop up. Thank you for your advice anon!

aatp purple is a huge pain in the butt to work with, so you're definitely not alone there
i would suggest thrift shopping (i have a similar coloured blouse i found at an op shop) or commissioning a blouse in the same or a complimentary shade of purple
then you could use the other colours to accessorise

or you could post it in the coord help thread and see if some anons have suggestions you can utilise

Too much... I've never seen the OP go for over $130, but it was my first choice color (which I honestly never thought I'd find) and it had all of the accessories, two of which (the headdress and socks) I've never seen for sale, so I ended up paying $400 shipped. In all honesty, it's what I would have offered if someone said they had it, so it's really not that much, but I don't know. I'm usually cheap as fuck. I'd do it again if I had to, though!

The only other things I'm looking for are the Victorian Maiden Noble Lady Mermaid OP in wine and the Lost Paradise OP in black. Both are so much newer, though, and pop up every so often so I don't feel that I need to be so active in searching. I passed on the LP OP in black and I really regret it, especially since the price was good, but oh well, it will appear again someday. I like D.
