Nesta altura do ano acho que só se poderá pra já fazer tentar prever como será ano no que a eventos diz respeito:

- Anicomics: É sempre um evento interessante. Será no mesmo espaço mas, alegadamente, irá haver um aumento do que eu presumo ser a área coberta do evento. Através de uma tenda? veremos, mas será certamente um evento a ter no calendário pessoal.

Iberanime LX: É um bocado Meh, a visita acho que vai depender muito do artista(s) que possam trazer.

Asian Culture Party: Provavelmente o evento que tem o conceito com mais potencial. Não tem adoptado a melhor postura com os seus congéneres, e daí que secalhar a adesão tenha sido tão fraca o ano passado. Regressou a Junho (De onde nunca deveria ter saído), veremos do que são capazes.
Evento a ter no meu calendário pessoal.

Manga and Comic Event: A
epoca do ano é a ideal para se fazer um evento no Algarve, dada a afluência de turistas. No entanto o ano passado o espaço era demasiado na periferia, o que prejudicou claramente a adesão ao mesmo.
Espero que este ano isto seja corrigido.

Midori: A quarta edição do Midori(pormuito que não queiram admitir o Midori em dezembro foi o 3º) foi honestamente muito abaixo do Medíocre. Tinham Excesso de Staff, e mal preparado, um espaço com potencial muito mal aproveitado, mas com um auditório de luxo. O Cabeça de cartaz estava enfiado na escadaria que parecia um bunker.
Será um evento para repetir? humm não sei.

Anifest: Na guerra de eventos, foi a meu ver(dado que visitei os dois) um claro vencedor.
Boa adesão, programa interessante. Aguardo para ver o que poderão melhorar.
Mas será certamente evento para ter no Calendário pessoal.

Nihon Sekai: Vieram lá de onde o judas perdeu as meias para Lisboa, tinha alguma dúvida se conseguiriam realmente fazer acontecer o evento. E a verdade é que aconteceu, com uma afluência grande, o espaço não era o melhor, apesar de terem um salão muito grande com um palco ao fundo, a quantidade

Dizer que o Anicomics é interessante é quase crime. O conceito é o mesmo desde sempre um espaço claustrofóbico dedicado puramente a cosplay com meia dúzia de vírgulas de comics. Um painel de dobradores mais que espremido e meia dúzia de bancas que se vê em cinco minutos. Até o iberanime consegue ser melhor.

* A quantidade de pessoas que apareceu tornou tudo super pequeno. Um evento bastante divertido, com actividades que preencheram o dia todo, e que me deixa com curiosidade daquilo que conseguirão fazer para este ano.

Comic-Con Portugal: Nada a dizer, muita gente, o nome vende bastante. Convidados interessantes. Veremos o que oferecem para este ano.

- Anisama: não há qualquer dado sobre este evento uma vez que é novo. Tenho curiosidade de ver o que conseguem fazer naquele espaço.
Daquilo que vi até agora não me parece que estejam a começar bem.
Já lançaram o horário o que é bom, mas depois as actividades anunciadas quase todas o mesmo "Ainda está por definir quem irá apresentar." ou "um grupo ainda por confirmar"
Se anunciam actividades convém que saibam quem as vai fazer, se já está definido digam quem será.
Outra coisa que poderá apenas ser a minha interpretação, os Workshops serão no bar?
Para terminar o espaço é o "EKA Palace",que é no 1º andar de um edificio antigo, muito antigo. Conheço bem o espaço porque a minha sobrinha estudou lá quando era pequena. E honestamente do que me recordo era muito pequeno, tinha um pátio grandito, mas o restante nem por isso.
Poderá estar bastante diferente, mas não me parece que o edificio tenha sido mudado pralém de "uma lavagem de cara".
Veremos o que saí dali, espero que me surpreendam pela positiva.

I love how you always start out in English but then the thread goes all Portuguese (which is understandable I guess.) I enjoy reading country-specific threads but using google translate all the time is a hassle and not always accurate.

As an outsider I'd love to learn more about the Portuguese cosplay community and events but yea, language barrier.

Just passing through, have fun peeps and please throw in some English now and then for us other poor sods.

Há alguma convenção em Portugal que tenha um bocado mais de foco em videojogos? Acho que é tudo mais virado para anime e etc...
Estava a pensar em tentar fazer cosplay, entrar nesse mundinho e tal, mas eu se fosse só pode mesmo ser videojogos e a esse nível só vejo a comicon.

É preciso sorte apanhar um thread tuga logo na 1ª vez que venho ao /clg/ também.

I don't really like her since the drama at the ecg prelims and the way she behaved. She had piss poor atitude too first spamming about eurocosplay and going to London is awesome and then she placed low and suddenly that contest is shitty and nothing to take serious. She wasn't even bad at all. She should be more proud of her work. It's not like the previwes year we weren't last in both places.

Usually if you do it in a pure sense of the experience international competitions provide you have a better atitude and that influences results in a positive way. And we won't know the results except for the top three. I also roled my eyes at her transfer tutorial which was simply information you get by reading the instructions of papertransfer. It just felt like selfentitlement to me.
There hasn't been much to talk about because Leo is growing out of cosplay and she was our ultimate drama source.

I think echo focused more on cosplay accuracy and craftmanship though. Contestants only have one minute too solo performance and that does not leave room to do much judging.

That's EuroCosplay, ECG usually only reveals the first 3 places and I heard last year they hold every contestant that didn't place that they were in the top 5

Tbh I thought eveny was the one who was place higher because isabela costume wasn't that impressive to me but in the end isa was more than 20 places up ines. But I'm happy because Ana is super nice person and lately Ines has been behaving a bit diva mode. Maybe this will humble her

Ana is a super nice person? Please, it's super clear that the ones writting here are always the same. You just can't see anyone besides your friends trying to be good. What did the other girl do to be a diva? Just because she won 2 contests in the country? She's way younger than most of our cosplayers and she seems to work hard. She always came across as an ok person, never had problems with her, a bit more quiet and down to earth than most cosplayers in here. Actually eveny was ok until her behaviour in the ecg. She's a really good seamstress no doubt but she came across very high horse the way she came two hours late talking on her phone like nothing and without justification. Than in Ec is in her Facebook how despited she was for not placing on the first half sand then her comments are cringeworthy on the matter. And guess what I really used yo like her and still do at least her costumes. But you can't hide your poor attitude for long. Even last year contestants handled better placing last.

Kuro sisters were also late. Organization sent an e-mail with the hours they had to be at ecg the night before the contest, they didn't see it, at that time they sould at least make a call. Is it the girls fault? Fuck them for being at work and not being on-line the night before a big contest. And if they had to give a justification it was to the organization and judges not to everyone. But you must be well informed. Talking about bitter people, no one talks about the ass attitude of the girl who placed second. Funny.

Tbh I think that both of them should be disqualified. But I'm taking about attitude here. And I don't pay much attention to kuro anyway and didnt like their costumes much. What rubbed me the wrong way is how eveny handled herself. Are you her boyfriend? Why do you even care so much she already got selected.

Wtf then whats the point of having a schedule? Let's all arrive late then because no harm done. A sign that fabio is always crying to have contestants and doensnt even abide by the rules because I'm pretty sure you are supposed to be on time in Paris. I remember even elffi making a comment about how they should all be disqualified.

The schedule doesn't matter, it only matter if you have a good costume and skit. Envy had a better costume that is why she won.

I heard only three people arrive late, Envey, Kuro and the girl from RWBY, the rest arrive on time, and only the RWBY girl was disqualified but aloud to do the skit, I don't know if this is true.
