It's like AP rereleases prints but they have to add a touch of unflattery to them. Just like the Milky Planet release where they ditched the cute scallops for ugly striped trim, and gave it pig ugly colorways.

I know, they line up and then get a number order in which to purchase. It's still much more reassuring because physical store has more secure stock (especially in Tokyo), purchase limits (he only takes 1 of each color and/or style), and he's a really cool and serious dood. If you get up at 6 to line up, chances are you won't get a no. 50 ticket, and even if you do a large Tokyo store will have more than 50 items of 1 color and style in stock. I won't miss it over the click of a button or a slow refresh either, and won't need to stay up all night and pull my hair out waiting for confirmation e-mails.

The AP new release system is rather complicated so maybe you're not totally familiar with it.
They get a number in line, and then draw a random number - which is the number for purchase order. You could be in line at 6am and get #120 for purchase order, or arrive at 10:30 and draw #1 and be first to purchase.
AP has been having limits of only 2 main items,total, not 1 of each color or style.
Even the big stores like Tokyo don't have 50 of each item in each colorway, maybe at the very most 20 or 30, but there have been releases where there's been 5 or less.
AP keeps track of customer purchases via point card, and it's also very easy for them to tell (especially if it's a foreigner) who is breaking the purchase rules and/or who potentially suspicious buyers are, such as your Chinese guy who obviously isn't buying the dress for himself.

I don't think so either. Dream sky had 2 - 3 weeks between scan reveal and re-release. Also from the blog and fashion show pictures, there's a few other prints lined up, like donut. KERA is also released on the 10th of every month, so December isn't out yet whereas it wasn't in November's issue. It's bit unlikely to have such a fast release.

yeah sounds like you missed it, basically the way the newer site works is instead of adding each item one at a time and then hiding the items (like on the old site, you would actually see them do this and sometimes you could even be quick and add it to your cart before they would hide the item) until they want to release them, they take the site down and throw up the 'coming soon' redirect on all the catagories while they do all the stock adding. Then they remove the redirect and bam, you go to the index page of the item, where everything is added already. Can you remember when you actually saw things go up to the minute? Because I know 1:01 or 1:02am was when the site came back up with all the stock, then they tossed up the redirect again for a couple mins, then they removed it again. Maybe you saw it once the site had come back the second time, and all the popular stuff had already been bought?

That's weird because I ship tp my address in Japan with a different name (for receiving convenience) while my credit card and billing details are different from the account name.

But if it is you cant get past the sign up stage you might be filling it in wrong. AP usually audits the orders later to make sure no one is cheating the new release rules

You have to click the grey button beside it that says 「以下に自動入力する」
It autofills the address for you.

Jeez, it says right there in the buying FAQ on the Japanese site. Accounts with a different name in the mailing address will be flagged as SS's, and if the order is made within an hour of the release it will be cancelled. Forwarding companies and addresses are also prohibited, and anyone who uses one will be banned.

That having been said, I got a Navy JSK from the Jap site and the shushu and barrette from the International site. Anyone managed to get an OP from the international site, or know how many were in stock when it began? It was gone in seconds, and even the accessories showed max 4 in stock when I ordered.

I was able to get the sax OP from intl around 2 hours after the Japanese release. There were 3 in stock at the time- I assume one of you here must've gotten the first of the 4. I was already on the page I wanted but every single click let to the over capped resources page. I had to keep refreshing while I was processing my payment. When it got to my paypal, it didn't load the option where I'd select the shipping address on both invoices. I just attached a note and sent Japan Shops a message about it. I really hope my order doesn't get cancelled because the paypal shipping address wasn't confirmed! After that I saw they closed the shop again.

And now scans of the new donut print is in! OH MY it is SO CUTE! I may contemplate getting this too...

I've been to a release in Osaka. I wore lolita and about half of the other people did too.
There's no need for mobility, really - it's not a mad, crazy rush like Black Friday in the US is or anything. You line up according to the number you drew, there's a rack with all the main pieces so you can get a close look, a table with the accessories for the same purpose, and then you tell a shop girl exactly what you want, and she gets new ones in packaging for you.
Whether or not you get what pieces you want really depends on the luck of the draw with the lottery numbers, not being faster or anything.
