How old are you? I've noticed once cosplayers hit 25 and up they generally (there are always exceptions) stop caring about such mundane things as how much skin so and so is showing.

It's only you young ones that get your panties in such a knot over it. It's not you so who cares? So long as they arn't rubbing all that skin all up in your face what's it to you?

I'm not offended per se.
I just look at it and feel a little sorry for them cause

1. they felt the need for attention so bad it made them have questionable behavior.
2. they severely lack the skills to make a real splash based on skill.
3. the visual is writing checks that their body can't cash.

It's in the acceptance of this behavior in the community that has made it so piteously like the rest of the world. You guys and girls are losing the backbone of your fandom and it's so sad and there is nothing to be done about it cause people always ask "why do you care" or say things "why is it any of your business?"

It's the kind of attention honestly that bothers me. To me personally trying to get sexual attention at cons is like wearing club clothes to a high end 5 star restaurant, yeah a lot of people are trying to be showy, but not in the same way. This bugs me because it's badly done. The Witchblade outfit looks badass if done correctly. I have mixed feelings about it being out at cons, but when the costume is done well and the source material is skimpy but intricate, like the Witchblade bikini armor things, it's respectable. Easy skimpy cosplay sucks unless a good attention for detail has been used.
