Lolita is becoming extremely popular outside of Japan. What is your opinion on this? What is your opinion on the growing tumblr community? Do you think that this popularity will only be a fad, or do you think it will stay?
Also, how many lolitas do you estimate there are outside of japan?

I find it's really really popular, more then it's ever been, and I've been wearing it for 6 years. Never have I seen so many Lolitas at cons, and people now recognize and know what I'm wearing. Not to mention internet celebrities who are making the fashion popular, like Albininwonderland and venusangelic (she's not a lolita, but she does wear dresses from AP and all that, plus she is very lolita influenced). I think that lolita in the western world is at it's peak right now.

This question has been asked way too many time every year. Truth is we don't really know. There are times of the year where the fashion is at its lowest and other times where it is at is highest.

It would depend on the next generation if they want to continue the lolita trend.

I totally agree with OP, lolita is getting real all over the world. I have noticed that every year, things are getting out of stock really fast, even last year for example; the AP Strawberry Palour print lasted a decent amount of time without getting sold out, now even with meh prints they get out of stock in no time.
Even lucky packs, I know they were always blood baths but this year they lasted less than 60 seconds online. Really guys? Nobody else has notice this?
