Short hair cuts for lolitas? My hair is short and I plan to keep it that way. But I'm getting it cut tomorrow and styled, and I want to know what to do. Anyone have an idea/picture?

When it's straightened I'm sure this girl's hair would be considered 'medium-length', but it's still pretty short compared to a lot of the hairstyles you see.

even for short cuts, girls tend to wear bob style wigs. It's easier to put headbows on and just generally looks better to wear a wig when you are doing lolita.

Eh, I don't think they look so bad if they're not overpowering. >>6662322 works in my opinion because she's not hiding behind the bow; so many girls try to use a huge bow to distract from the fact that they've done minimal styling to their hair (if any at all) and I just...eh.
I love the coord you posted but since we're on the subject I find myself wishing she had SOME sort of hair accessory, even if it was just a really thin headband or a couple of barrettes or something.

Yeah, I don't even know what she would have to do to help it recover other than cutting it and starting over. Even if she stopped bleaching and dying it, I don't think it would fully recover. I know next to nothing about treating damaged hair though.

I used to say this too, but a chubby girl at my school has a short, curly haircut and it looks really nice on her. She almost resembles a flapper. I wish more girls would wear their hair naturally.
