What's on your mind? What coord are you working on? Questions? Answers!

For me, my dream dress just sold out in like 30 seconds. Time to cry.

Anyone else know that feel when you have a dream dress, and you know if you ever saw it for sale it would be really cheap, but it is just never, ever up? Pic related. ;_; I saw it for sale once but someone got to it before me. My friend has it, as well, and it's just the prettiest thing in real life.

I'll likely never even fit into my dream dress. I'm working out strictly & watching my diet like a hawk but, being tall and large framed (and not big-boned like fatties use as an excuse, but big boned as in wide shoulders/big ribcage/large feet ETC) Angelic Pretty is just... probably not happening unless it has a lot of shirring.

And this JSK does not have a lot of shirring -.-;

(I would post a picture but 4chan keeps giving me that lovely 'cannot find record' error. It's the night sky regimental jsk... I want it so ;_;)

I'm in a similar situation. I just got down to just under the max measurement of one of my dream dresses (and found it up for sale with the tags, practically new for cheap considering what it's been going for on the comm sales). I've got wide shoulders, a wide ribcage. Everything is pulled up because of my boobs. I prefer Jsks over OPs because of my shoulders. I'm just thankful I was able to fit into it when it arrived and it's not overstretched. Just a little bit snug on my underbust but not uncomfortable. I wouldn't have been able to get into it 2 months ago.

I'd suggest sticking with heels, especially more elegant/stylish ones. Cutesy flat shoes (like tea parties) look really clownish on big feet.

Are JetJ sizes considered 'bigger' than normal brand sizes? Just curious where I fit in terms of fatty chan or not if I can fit into jetj size 1 (my dress has no shirring if that matters). Thanks.

Even though I am a relative lolita noob, just really getting into it, I know better than to even touch a flat shoe with a really long stick. They make me look stubby.

I've wondered the same exact thing.

It actually looks like this really cheap paper/decorative memo tablet my mother always buys from Walmart.

>> No.6402768

>>6402722
Not sure what you mean. I own several JetJ size 1 dresses that fit very well, but I believe I may have a slight form of BDD so I was curious from an outsiders perspective, how the sizing of the brand relates to other brands. As for comparing measurements between brands, the numbers always are slightly off due to shirring/design/just bad measurements, so I wanted a visual comparison from a stranger based on their take on different brand sizes/how girls look in normal brand sizes. Maybe this doesn't make sense... but when I look in the mirror, I see a fat blob and I focus on all these little parts of my body with some kind of hyper sensitivity. So I was thinking maybe JetJ was a larger brand in terms of sizing due to how I view myself. I hope this makes sense.

Jet J size one is in line with the other classic brands (MM and VM) it is much smaller than IW and is smaller than AP and Baby.
Size 2 is more in line with those brands.

If you are in size 1 you are probably pretty small.

(measurements are Bust/Waist, garment size, from non-shirred OPs. To fit them, you must be a few cm below the stated numbers)
VM:
90cm/73cm

IW:
S: 91cm/68cm
M:95cm/72cm
L:101cm/78cm

AP:
M: 88cm/70.6cm
L: 94cm/76.6cm

BABY:
94cm/74cm

Jet-J:
1: 88cm/68cm
2: 93cm/73cm

So I'm a cheap ass.

I got these white used SS tea parties for like $5 when I bought a dress from a girl at a convention awhile back. They're sitting there gathering dust. I cleaned the scuffs off them and other than a few general signs of wear they're fine. I never wear them because they're white.
