depends on the con. I've heard that orgies in hotels are technically considered illegal since hotel are considered a public place or something. Even still most cons do not want to be known as the orgie con so they either stop it or the orgie is kept on the DL. I've met people who claimed to have been to con orgies for just about every major con in the US so take what you will. Most likely it does, or did happen.

I know nothing about this side of things so I can't say 100%. I do know that recently many photographers have been cancelled for apparently sleeping with or trying to pressure clients in to doing porn and lewds. Take what you will, there is scum in every industry and job.

Cosplayers are still people with their own lives and personalities. Whores are going to whore, prudes are going to prude. Just because someone wears a sexy cosplay doesn't mean they are some turbo slut, and just become someone wears a modest outfit doesn't mean they are normal. Take your chance.

I'd imagine a lot of cons provide outlets for pent up people (i.e., working professionals, college kids, generally horny folk) so not surprised if higher casual sex frequency is a natural consequence.

I heard some hotels in downtown NYC being used as after party or orgy spots after NYCC. Didn't know this was illegal behavior.

For the photog thing it seems like a dangerous line to toe... I also heard of some photogs getting cancelled over raunchy behavior. Even if innocent, it seems extremely hard to fight against the cancel mob, given the nature of any allegations. Sometimes misinformation can spread much faster than truth.

Nothing is guaranteed. The only experience I had was with a Raven cosplayer at a small city con near me. I asked if she hand made her cos, which she did, and we both walled around together since we were both solo. OP, I'm the worst person to ask that. I do cosplays that are seen as cute or terrifying , or that people have generally no idea what I'm cosplaying as. I'm surely left off any rumors about naughty things. Plus in my area, conventions are held far away enough from the conventions, so you don't get easily after parties or people going to fuck each other. If you want to do it, shall be on the bathroom. Otherwise I feel like my area is specially prude, which is ironic since where I live has a promiscuous reputation.

I only wish I could fuck a cosplayer.

I’m not really a cosplay nerd and I know very little about the vast majority of universes these cosplayers’ characters come from. This is my general experience. It's not just roommates it's also everyone has a plan for their day. They have things they want to do, people they want to meet up with, tasks they have to complete. Spending extended time with a stranger to the point of ducking out and having sex isn't normally high on people's list. Most of the people I've ever been interested in, are actual nerds and plan to go to panels at 9am, so they go to bed early. The really well put together cosplays are off-limits because of that.. so you if you want to hook up the people into that will more likely to be in storebought flavor of the month stuff. In general, 10/10 hot people have surprisingly dead sex lives.

You get bonus points for being tall, muscular, masked. Majority of people I know who fuck at cons are going with the person they're fucking already, but the few who are up to that and going alone usually want someone from out of town they're never going to see again. I'd never offer or ask for any social media, leave that up to them - if they want to hear from you again, they'll ask anyways, but if they want a hookup and nothing else, getting too personal might cockblock and friendzone you.

this is hilariously true, hot people don't really get approached because the other party gets intimidated and thinks they're a player/taken. the big hoes are almost always the fat/ugly chicks. I'm starting to feel like cons are where fat nerd girls live out their slutty Stacy dreams. The shortest and fattest girl I've seen in my life showed some guy her nudes from her phone screen at an after party and slept in his hotel room that night. Found a different guy for the next night. I was an avid congoer during highschool and one of the closest cons to me was known for being in this center that had this unsupervised upper floor where people would go to hook up a few hours in, mostly 16-22 like >>10806842 said. I only did basic cosplays for fun, not for showing off or anything, and it was fun talking to people for a few minutes about the show if they knew it. Some gosuloli cosplayer kind of hit on me and I was too awkward to talk to her because she was clearly 13-14 and after a while she left and I saw her talk to some other guy and take him upstairs.
I don't REALLY regret not going along with it since I was only slightly older, but I feel like that would've been something I couldn't take back and I kept my "dignity" I guess. They cracked down on that shit a few years later after I'd stopped going to it because seeing cosplayers hook up at every corner was uncomfortable for me.

Most of the Anime cons I've been too had raves 18+ to 21+. This where most of the stuff happens. Drugs, making connections etc. I've seen an asian dude with 2 asian girls in nothing but cat lingerie you see in animes. They were leashed with collars as he held their chains.

These cons generally have speed dating. Don't go to them. Those people are single for a reason. Generally poor hygiene, ugly, etc. Some are cute but rare in my opinion. Some of these people are starving for any kind of touch. So if you are desperate go for it.

Of course there are slutty looking cosplayers. Once seen one girl in a Chun Li cosplay with no panties. Purposely did high kicks and other moves for the audience or cameras. There's a dress code but the con rarely enforces it depending on how long it goes, how much attention they bring, and so on.

It happens. But most of the time these people who do hook up already know each other somehow (internet, discord, community) and just needed the con to have a mutual place to sneak off to a room together. True rando hookups are much more rare at regular cons, though do happen.

If you don't get random pussy on the regular IRL, you won't get it at a con. So don't bother looking for it on purpose. Just go and have fun.

Basically the secret is to be not fat, clean, groomed, cosplay as some hot item cosplay the girls all like at the moment. It is really that easy. Losing weight is like the only real barrier, as it's considered "bare minimum" to women before they will even look at you.
