I think there were some cookie issues with Firefox ios - I kept adding things to basket, getting confirmation they were in the basket, but then the basket was empty. Had to switch to Safari and missed out on LBS necklaces in the meantime, but I got the two Milky Bear necklaces I wanted.

I really want to like the sax colorway of Ribbon Party. The bodice is so cute. The colors are nice. But it still feels like cheap AP? The A-line cut looks ugly and the bottom of the dress is so plain. I feel stupid for not trying to get it, but it didn't win me over.

As much as I love gulls coming together through our hate for dumb scrote crossboarders, this is the AP thread so let's please talk about AP. I for one am happy they are releasing more prints and solids in cotton. It's great for summer. Even with a poly lining, I wear cotton petticoats so it overall makes things more breathable and feels lighter even if the poly technically is thinner or weighs less.

If scalper bots are a problem and AP resolves it not by making supply reach demand or trying to stop scalpers specifically, but by deeming all bots unfair and banning anyone using them, then we're back to square one with normal bloodbaths but scalpers having many people sometimes present to help them get stuff so they can split profits and still getting the advantage in the long run.

I wish AP would just cut into scalper profits by producing more of the stuff that for over a year now has proven it will sell or offer MTOs of popular sellout releases with high production minimums if they want to ensure they break even or profit without worrying if something will sit around forever and go on sale.

I get what you're saying, but it is still at least possible to get releases manually now. It's not even as bad as getting AP on closetchild yet. During the AP USA release of JCT I was able to checkout with multiple items in my cart because I practice relentlessly beforehand. The people striking out during every release are the same people who either literally type their card details in at checkout or get to the release 5 minutes late and then act clueless as to why everything is sold.

Personally I'm really disappointed in the beret, I had high hopes for that one because the black colorway looked so cute in the lookbook but the other colorways are pretty disappointing. Also nayrt, and I don't think so. Newer AP releases haven't had a lot of staying power. Even when they are extremely popular at release, they just kind of fade into nothing afterwards. No one cares about Ice Cream Parlor or Girly Sticker anymore. Moco Moco Bunnies and JCT will be the same in 6 months or a year. The dresses get listed later when the hype dies down and they haven't been hard to get at that point.
I can't remember the last release that really held its ground and stayed in people's closets.

But to address your larger point, we are saturated with prints right now. Back in the day, we only got a handful of prints a year, one or maybe two a month. Now they’re coming almost every other week. If you miss out on one, you know you can rely on the next print maybe to be something you can get instead.
