I mean if you go on google and search "(character) cosplay nsfw" or "(character) cosplay porn" you can only get so much or not even anything. If you pay a costhot you get new content (unless it's leaked, in which case I make the decision whether I want to pay and keep supporting them or just nab it for free) and/or some even take on specific requests so I can live on specific fantasies specific to the character.

I remember a few days ago coming across even this cosplayer >>10373843 in his twitch stream "fooling around" getting close to his mic whispering in-character lines including some viewer's names sometimes and people went crazy and left wanting for more. I have to admit. That's business. You draw people in.

Personally my gripe is with costhots who just slap taobao cheapshit on, spread eagle, emotionless, not even thinking the least about the characterization, flash their starfish and change into their next costume. And there's an abundancy of it now because it sells anyway especially due to what I said (fantasizing over specific 2D husbando/waifu).
They're not cosplayers in my opinion. They're cosmodels. Especially the ones who just watch a few youtube videos and read a wikipedia page. There's no problem with that I guess, but 1) I wish there was differentiation 2) at least be honest, don't lie and don't pretend to be better than others (like the classic >>10372001).

As far as getting back on topic, if anything I hope the new remake design encourages someone to truly do a really good cosplay of Tifa.

Part of the problem with Tifa cosplay has always been the relative simplicity of what she wears - the new design has a lot more small details for the craft-y people to build out.
