The atmosphere depends on what time you go inside. If you go inside when it starts it's just a bunch of people standing around with music playing in the background. Later in the night it gets more lively and becomes worth visiting if you're into dance music. Also bring a friend if you can, because it's a bit more awkward if you're alone.

Be mindful of the place and time you're asking to take a photo and you'll do fine. Also, ALWAYS stand parallel to the wall instead of perpendicular when taking a photo. Never block traffic, especially in the dealer's hall. I disagree with the video's advice on that rule, by the way. How thier done depends on the artist. I've had them done during the con and picked them up and I've also made arrangements to have it shipped after. Thats between you and the artist to find what works for you!

This literally never happens, I've been to enough cons to know that the only time they'll check your ID is for something that's 21 and over or if you buy a ticket to an event at the con. Even then they won't check if it matches your badge. Flashing the badge is the only thing anyone ever asks for.

Buying a badge onsite is just a really fucking retarded idea. Buying it online is what any sane responsible person should've done ages ago, buying from Craigslist isn't the best idea but it definitely beats buying the badge onsite.

We get to the venue what we feel fairly early, about 45 mins before show time and ask the dude standing at the door if this is the spot for the Bunnygirl cafe.
Get kind of non-committal answer but we hang around.
Other security guard comes up, and goes "You guys aren't in line! The line is around the corner."
(This happens ALL FUCKING CON BTW, FUCK THEIR LINE SETUPS HOLY SHIT) and we go and get in line. 30 minutes later, "Alright, we're about to get moving! WHOOO!" another 15... "Alright, we're gonna get moving!" Half hour after our showtime is supposed to begin, line finally starts moving in.

We walk what feels like a fucking mile to get to the doors, and lo and fucking behold, the maids are TERRIBLE.
Half of them are 3/10 Alpo looking bitches, the other good looking half might pass for 6's with a bit of work, maybe 1 or 2 7's sprinkled in.
The unlucky first few got chicks we nicknamed "Rancor-Chan' and "The Penguin." Those poor fucks.
We got a 4/10 chubby latina and one of the 6's/7's who played up Stupid Genki Bunny Girl WAAAAAY too hard.
So, we're sitting there, pissed as fuck already and spitting fucking VENOM about this bullshit, and the stage show starts.
