What's wrong with a total weeb running an anime con? Seems natural to me. She seems to be in good standing with all the other cons in North Texas and Oklahoma.

That aside, I know of one local cosplayer who has talked herself out of being a cosplay guest/judge at any convention in Oklahoma. That was because she talked nonstop shit about cons she attended/guested/judged/tabled at while buying her cosplays. That's not unique to Oklahoma though, every cosplay community has a few people with an inflated ego and bitchy attitude. So if you heard a rumor from a drama queen cosplayer, take it with a grain of salt and a slice of lime and a shot of tequila then tell em to shut the fuck up if they don't have any proof.

She's super full of herself. She dismisses all criticism as negativity, and somehow thinks all her costumes as top notch because nobody can tell her otherwise. There's nothing even close to professional about her level of cosplay--even her bought costumes don't even look that good. Don't even get me started on her wigs...

Close but not quite. She runs panels on how to buy cosplay so she owns up to not making her own stuff and I really don't hear her trash talking other cosplayers. Why she gets pulled as a judge when she buys most her stuff is beyond me. She still does plenty of cons though which she promotes relentlessly on local forums.

The person I'm thinking about was also a judge at izumicon last year. She has about the same level of cosplays but isn't as active and positive in the local community. Keep in mind this is all rumors since no one wants to air their dirty laundry in public.

I understand where you’re coming from on this person but as far as I’ve seen she still seems to be a guest/judge/etc at plenty of local cons but typical just the really small ones.
