What's the best food to scoff over the weekend if I'm planning to drink from Thursday to Sunday?

Most cons I just stock up on noodles and then just have something meaty around 7pm-ish. I can't remember what I did last year at Ame, but each night I was boozing till everyone else was dead.

Be a fa/tg/uy? Go to the games room, join in a game, make friends.

Or go to the pub quiz, ask to join a small team, bond with them for a few hours.

Some groups will always be insular, so don't worry if you can't bond with them. But be nice and chat to people, and you soon enough you'll make some friends. Hell, if you're at Kita come say hello, fellow anon.

Don't get too obsessed with talking to people, just have a beer and be chill. Chances are if you're not stressing about being social, you'll end up just naturally talking with people and having a good time.

So long as you're not drooling and you've showered there's not too much that can go wrong, although don't panic if some groups just aren't being chatty. Some people come to cons to just be insular and that's no fault of you or any other outsider. In fact, sometimes it's good to talk to people just to know who NOT to talk to, if that makes sense.

In other words: It really doesn't matter. Just chill and don't overthink anything

Drinks are cheap yeah, especially considering there are no other alternatives it's nice to see everything so modestly priced.

And yeah, the steps are banging, it's just so.. In the middle of everything so there are usually crowds chilling til late late. I think last Ame we were out at least until 4am then up again at 8 for breakfast every night. Plus last year a guy smashed the cover off a power unit to plug in his portable DJ table and set up so we had shitty mix-tapes and crappy music, but it was 4 and people were wasted so it was all good.

Does anyone know if the Blind-Date is ran by the same guy who did it last year at Ame? I kind of want to see if the panel has improved from the train wreck last year but there is other good stuff on that night.

The guy actually got permission. Some of the ame organisers came out shitting themselves thinking we'd gone rogue and wrecked the venue. They weren't being shits though, they just asked if we'd gotten permission, they said they'd have to double check, something about insurance and not wanting to get charged. They kinda do. I think they believe they have all these things, when in most cases a GP will diagnose you with things like PTSD and an anxiety disorder in the meantime, when they need more time to diagnose you properly.

PTSD would then lead to BPD.

What I hate about the post is that they seem to think mental illnesses are like Pokemon cards or something. They aren't fun to have. BPD is horrible.

A main symptom of it is a phobia of rejection, so their post isn't something you'd think someone with it would post. Therapists even tell people with BPD not to be so open on social media.
