I've self posted on various boards over the years and get a pretty mixed reaction and it's whatever but I don't want to be posted in a bad make up thread but there are high standards and I just don't think I live up to those.

I haven't posted any lolita yet as I don't have a full coord but when I do get one together, I'd be okay with crit but I don't want to get a bunch of shit for being fat when I'm already trying to lose weight. I think that is the biggest problem. I can't lose the weight fast enough to fit the high standards.

If people make fun of you for being fat, just say that you're in the middle of losing weight...if people can't understand that something like that takes time and that you're doing something about it, then pay them no mind. There's also plus size jfash threads once in a while, you could always maybe ask for tips in those on maybe how to look better in photos if you're worried about that as well? Same with posting in makeup threads and asking for advice there.

But yeah, if you aren't sure if you can handle certain crit/comments, just be weary of how you put your photos online. I'm sure you don't look as bad as you think you might.
