That shirt and corset combo has got to go.

You need more accessories, basic things from claires or target isn't going to cut it. I'm sure Hot Topic sells some pastel goth looking accessories now. Look for things with crosses or pentagrams on them.

If you're going to wear shorts, try pairing them with a cute pair of tights or over the knee socks. The shorts/tights combo looks really cute with an over sized shirt or sweater.

Layering is good too but not in the way you're doing it. Mix and match either a pastel top with something black over it like a studded jacket or vest. Cute pins and buttons can be added to add a little extra flare.

Idgaf what /cgl/ says, I love pastelgoth. Like older pastelbat and a lot of these snaps were a big inspiration for me for a while. I've always loved "tougher" elements of fashion and things with a creepy touch and pastel color palettes are a favorite but the overly cutesy cakes and whatnot were too much for me, so creepy cute was right up my alley. Tumblr has done some pretty stupid shit with it, but I don't think it's inherently a bad fashion.
