The forced pink fur accessories don't really go with that dress; it needs to be paired with more structured accessories. The white book purse is really jarring and it doesn't really work thematically. as a whole, the outfit is really off-balance. there's too much pink in the top and too much black in the bottom.

I think accomplished Lolitas can do both. A decent beginner level used camera setup and basic lighting will only set you back the cost of a couple of brand coords and it will make everything else you photograph look great too.
