Also still looking for fancy headwear. Where can I find pretty hats or headwear? Ive been eyeballing some surfacespell ones but i think I'd look better with a bigger hat opposed to those mini sized ones. I have a rachell lace black meta bonnet but not sure if it would fit with my coord

I'm planning on using a headpiece I have that's similar but doesn't have the gold trim.

Anyway, criticism would be appreciated. I can't help feel like it looks off in some way.

I have just recently bought this IW dress and I really like the idea of putting together some sort of military or 1950's style coord together but i'm running low on ideas for what type of blouse or socks/tights to use for it. What do you guys think about the idea of using a garrison cap in the coord? I'm a little worried it might offend people/ be disrespectful in which case I won't use one.

I don't think it's disrespectful. There are other places in fashion where people use military-inspired accessories as well and it's generally not seen as offensive or anything like that.

For a blouse I think a simple high-collar one would work nicely. The one in my pic even comes with a scarf which I think would work well with it if you choose to wear one.

Also got some sock suggestions based on your shoe choices.

I don't think it's offensive. Especially not in that color with something on it that's not actual military. I'd go with the boots. Maybe try to add some splashes of color with a neck ribbon, brooch or bag. I think red would work well with the beige.

Thank you for your advice! Garrison cap it is! I might be tempted to go for one of those pair of socks once I decide what shoes to wear, I'm leaning more towards boots at the moment. Love the blouse as well!

Adding some red sounds like a great idea to add some colour to the coord, I think I might play about with having some sort of red scarf and tie it in with a brooch or something on my lapel, thanks for your help!

So, I have this blue bandana that I want to tie around my arm for a Ritsuko Akagi cosplay. Whenever I tie it around my arm, it falls off. I know I have small arms (girl) but, is there some sort of technique I'm supposed to follow in order to get it to stay on? Please help!
