I managed to nab a couple of lovely older Boz pieces on the Japanese auction sites. One is this sleeveless, buttons down the front 'nun' style dress, and another is this one that I just won, that laces up the front and on the sleeves. I'd love to know what their names are, and what years they're from. Not my pictures, sorry.

The nun dress hits me at about mid-calf length. I'm a smidge over 5'5 tall. Not sure yet about the one in the first pic, as the auction for it only ended the other day.

Perhaps I'm forgetting this is made for Japanese women and not western ones and that it probably won't be too long unline every long normalfag dress I've encountered. Seriously, I'd have to cut off 20cm if I'd want to wear a normalfag maxi dress, H&M, etc seem to think all women are giants.

You're welcome! The dress which you've picture does actually come in a shorter version as well, which if it isn't identical, is very similar. Chokolate was selling a shorter one with a white shoulder thing on lacemarket fairly recently.

The one which you've pictured in the all black colurway is my next wishlist item that I want to hunt down. The sleeveless nun dress which I own has given me a love for the simpler, slightly less in your face, nun dresses. I would just love to know what the pieces are called, and when they are from. :)

I can half answer this. It was modified by the orig seller, who posted in the sales listing that she was selling it for such a high price because of the modifications. She added the pointy lace and the cape-bit in the back at the very least.

The base dress was AP, but to be honest I can't remember what it was and I'm drawing a blank looking at it.

If you're looking for something similar (the cape bit, I mean) it's modeled after historical fashion popular during the Rococo era. The style is called robe a la francaise, and Baby released a dress with the same name that has the sack-back bit.

Is pic related definitely the Velveteen Babydoll JSK 2005 release? I was convinced it was but on close inspection, the lace is different.

The 2001 Rococo Bouquet was the closest I could find, the only difference being the collar/sleeve style and the colour of lace used between the pintucks. The print looks about right. I suspect that yours might be the imageless 2002 version on lolibrary.

The white underneath is indeed a separate bluse. The OP pictured in the GLB scan is the Smyrna OP, which is similar but not qute what I own. I'm currently after the full sleeved, and high-necked nun OP all in black.

I'm looking for a dress I saw a picture of a few weeks ago, I'm fairly sure it was an OP, black colorway, the print on the front was a painting that was in muted colors, mostly blue. Am I crazy or can anyone find this for me?
