It looks most appropriate for Christmas season, IMHO (it's more Christmassy than wintry, to the point where I feel a little weird still wearing my red velvet in January) but really it's fine any time the weather's cool enough for it. Which, here in the UK, is a lot of the time.

Does anyone have any preference between velour and velvet? I think velvet looks much nicer, but velour seems like it's way easier to wear and take care of. Trying to get into it more, didn't know if there were major pros and cons I should know.

Yes, the 4 o'clock dress is inspired by the baby dress. The dresses are similar, but if you take a closer you can find a few differences. The dress was a commission for a friend, and I bought the dress from my friend a year ago.

Yes, I own it! I'm so happy with the dress. The dress is fully lined. 4 o'clock used high quality velvet, it's so soft. The dress is well made and the lining is made from nice fabric. It's possible to wear the dress two different ways. One possibility is shown in the picture, the black polka dot lace is visible at both side. To wear it on a different way, without showing the black lace, you need to untie the ribbon between the velvet and lining.

I wish I could wear it more often. I need to wait until next winter to wear the dress again.

Thank you! There is a matching headdress. It was a gift from the 4 O'clock designer for my friend. My friend gave it to me when I bought the dress. I think it's also possible to commission the headdress, though.

I don't want to disappoint you, but the price of the dress increased a lot in the last few years. I wanted to commission the same dress before. I couldn't afford to buy it new, that's why I was so happy when my friend offered to sell the dress to me.
