Honestly I like "bittersweet" when it doesn't look so try hard. When it is sweet with a mostly black colour scheme I like it. Though I don't really think it needs to have a new name.

Unpopular opinion but I like it better than the pastel vomit coords.

I like how as soon as someone mentions the word bittersweet, someone whips out that stupid meme. I feel like people just say they like bittersweet now because its easier to say than I like sweet prints in black colorways. I honestly don't care about the nickname, and don't like it in particular, but it's truly laughable how aggressive people turn over this subject .

Both these things are basically true. I think bittersweet is a great term for black backgrounds on sweet prints, but sweet black prints also generally look like shit and are bought by people with poor taste who think it matches offbrand crap they already own.
